The Electric Counterpoint ensemble, realised in the context of the ELECTRIC FEEL exposition for Mobilab Gallery in May 2015, references Steve Reich’s 1987 musical composition of the same name.

Just as Reich’s work, Ambrosetti’s plastic proposition is divided into three groups.

The series of mirrors is the third movement.

The superimposition of frames, interplay of color and mirror reflections render the Electric Counterpoint ensemble more than a mere scheme of plastic and design, indeed questioning the phenomenological depths of sight.
